I thought that this was an interesting tip. especially after seeing some CAD users who have many palettes open at once and how much screen-real-estate that these palettes take up.

Is there any way to set Tool palettes expend only when I click on them and not on hover?
I found 2 things for you:
1) Manually adjusting this from the following link. But there is a larger section of numbers that may be different depending on what version of CAD you are using. The example shown is for ACAD 2009

2) An APP developed by Jimmy Bermark and it sets this setting in the profile (.aws file) automatically. Again, the latest version is for 2009
